Founder, Counsellor & Cancer Survivor
Bio: Pieter is the therapeutic heart of Pivot Point. As both a counsellor and a cancer survivor, he brings a rare combination of professional skill and lived experience to his work. Over the past decade, Pieter has supported individuals and families through the emotional, relational, and identity shifts that accompany cancer.
Grounded in Narrative Therapy and holistic emotional care, Pieter offers a safe, gentle space where clients can explore fear, uncertainty, grief, hope, and meaning — without judgment or pressure.

Co-Founder & Practice Director
Bio: As co-founder and Practice Director, Rudi ensures that Pivot Point is not only a place of emotional healing, but also a practice built on stability, professionalism, and care.
Rudi oversees the operational, strategic, and client-experience elements of the practice — making sure every person who reaches out feels supported from the very first moment. His work shapes the systems, communication, and brand presence that allow Pieter’s therapeutic work to flourish.
With a commitment to human-centered support, Rudi helps maintain the warmth, integrity, and clarity that define Pivot Point.

Financial Manager
Bio: Elane is the financial backbone of Pivot Point. With extensive experience in financial management and tax for medical practices, she ensures that the practice operates with clarity, accountability, and long-term stability. Her work allows Pivot Point to maintain the professionalism and reliability that every client deserves.
Beyond her role in the practice, Elane also serves as a Director of the Haemteam Trust — a registered NPO that partners with Pivot Point to support cancer patients and their families. Her commitment to integrity, compassion, and community impact strengthens every layer of the support we offer.
